AAYA Skin Consult

A healthy lifestyle and an effective and good skin care routine are both essential for healthy, radiant and balanced skin. But what routine do you need to follow and with which products do you need? This is a question we often get! There are so many skin care products on the market that it can be difficult to find a product or routine that suits your skin. Do you want to know which skin care products your skin needs? With the AAYA Skin Consult we analyse your skin and give you personal advice and information about your ideal Skin Care Routine at home.

Did you know that 80% of skin aging is caused by external factors (compared to 20% by genetic factors)? This means that you have a lot of influence on creating beautiful and healthy skin.

Step 1 Lifestyle: Lifestyle affects all organs and therefore also your skin. Before the consultation, you will fill out our AAYA questionnaires about your lifestyle. Components that are discussed include: nutrition, sleep, stress, hormones and general well-being. This way, we both get a good idea of ​​which lifestyle habits are good and which are less good for your health and skin.

Step 2 Analysis: The doctor analyses skin and volume, with an eye for the aspects that you want to improve. Once we have collected all the puzzle pieces, extensive advice follows about your lifestyle, nutrition, supplements and skin care.

Step 3 Effective Skin Care: It’s all about the ingredients! Brands are often beautiful, but what do the creams and serums really do for your skin? The most important components of good skin care are: protecting, exfoliating, activating and hydrating. With ingredients such as retinol, vitamin C in effective dosages, they have a positive effect on your skin.

Step 4 Personal Skin Care advice: The advice you receive from us is tailored to you personally and based on scientific research. Everyone deserves their own skincare advice! If necessary, we will also discuss which treatments (of the skin or volume loss) could further improve the condition of your skin and underlying structures. And no, we do not come with products that you have to buy from us. We look at different options. After all, it is about the right ingredients. You decide which brand you like. Afterwards, you will receive your advice to take home with you. This way you get a complete picture of your skin, skin care and what you can do about it yourself. Because beautiful skin starts with good skin care and a balanced healthy lifestyle at home!

Botulinum toxin is a natural protein that is used in hospitals to reduce muscle spasms. With this protein we can also reduce muscle tension in the face in very small doses. This is muscle tension that leads to disturbing lines such as a frown line or crow’s feet, but also headaches, teeth grinding and excessive sweating. 

Muscles differ. For example, you have bodybuilders and marathon runners. We assess your muscle strength and tension and adjust the dosage of muscle relaxant accordingly. You only get what you need to reduce lines, make headaches disappear, reduce muscle tension and teeth grinding. 

Our way of treating with muscle relaxant is different than other clinics. During your life, lines can form in your face: by laughing, talking, or being surprised. But also with sadness and anger. Sometimes these lines are beautiful. They fit your age and face. However, sometimes these lines or wrinkles can also give you a somewhat sad, angry or tired appearance. At AAYA, we look at whether a treatment with muscle relaxant can make the lines in your face a little softer or less deep. We look at whether the result fits your age, face and the rest of your body. Most cosmetic clinics treat with ‘zones’ of the face. Examples of zones are: frown, forehead, eyebrow. You pay a fixed price for these. Because we prefer to treat on a tailor-made basis, we have a different approach at AAYA and treat per unit of muscle relaxant. In short, we only charge the amount that is needed. Logical, we think! This fits in with our vision of cosmetic treatments: no standard zones, but a treatment plan tailored to the individual. Everyone deserves personal advice and a personal treatment plan! And often it is much cheaper!

Our prices per unit of muscle relaxant:
10-20 units = 14 euros per unit
> 20 units = 12.5 euros per unit

Hyaluronic acid Filler

Hyaluronic acid fillers can restore volume loss. A filler ‘fills’ parts of your face. It provides more volume and an improvement of the shape and structure of the facial skin. It can also be used to smooth out visible lines and wrinkles. Fillers can contain different types of active ingredients. For example, there are hyaluronic acid fillers and collagen stimulating fillers. It is not a poison and does not affect facial expression. The filler is placed under the skin with a fine injection needle. The treatment itself usually takes between 15-30 minutes and gives immediate results. These results are long-lasting but not permanent, because the hyaluronic acid is slowly broken down by the body.

Everyone deserves personal advice and a treatment plan! A good doctor does not do exactly what you ask, but looks, analyzes, discusses and consults with you what the best treatment is at what time. Profhilo

Profhilo® is made of pure hyaluronic acid and is not a dermal filler. It stimulates the skin’s own production of collagen and elastin, which ensures skin improvement without changing the shape of your face. Profhilo does not add volume to the face, but provides hydration, firming and a beautiful glow! It is extremely suitable for tightening the skin in a natural way. Profhilo can be used on various parts of the body such as the face, neck, décolleté, arms, legs and abdomen.

Profhilo has a known protocol. The first time you do Profhilo you usually need 2 treatments with 1 month in between. However, at AAYA we do not always follow the Profhilo protocol and we only do what is really necessary. Your doctor assesses your skin and will advise you on the number of Profhilo treatments. See below what we usually do, but of course this depends on your skin and not your age.

1) Younger skin – Age 25-35 years. Skin is elastic with slight signs of dryness and lack of firmness. Advice: 1 Profhilo treatment, repeat after 6 months.

2) Medium skin – Age 35-45 years. Slight decrease in elasticity, signs of dryness and volume loss such as fine lines. Advice: 1 Profhilo treatment, assess effect after 1 month. Possibly a 2nd Profhilo treatment. Or repeat 2nd Profhilo treatment after 3 months.

3) Mature skin – Age > 45 years. Decrease in elasticity, signs of dryness and volume loss. Advice: 2 Profhilo treatments, assess effect after 1 month. Repeat 1 Profhilo treatment every 6-12 months as maintenance.

PhilArt (polynucleotides)

PhilArt® is a skin booster based on polynucleotides. Polynucleotides have tissue repairing and anti-inflammatory properties (biostimulator). PhilArt makes your skin more elastic and firmer by naturally stimulating the production of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants in the skin. It improves the quality of the skin from within and is very effective against various signs of skin aging! It is effective against wrinkles, large pores, sagging skin, dry skin, pigmentation, dull skin and acne/scars.

PhilArt Eye® is specifically designed for the vulnerable skin around the eyes. It is the optimal collagen booster for the skin around the eyes for a fresher and less tired appearance! PhilArt eye is effective against sagging skin around the eyes, fine lines and wrinkles, eye bags / dark circles and pigment spots / sun damage. 

PhilArt® is an extremely safe treatment with a very natural result. It is injected into the skin, whereby 2ml is distributed over 20 points (10 per half of the face). In the skin, the product is distributed naturally to the surrounding skin. PhilArt® is widely applicable, and can be used on the face, forehead, neck, décolleté, but also for scars, stretch marks and around the eyes (PhilArt Eye®). PhilArt® is recommended for everyone! For women and men, for young (preventive) and mature skin, for healthy skin and for skin diseases or troubled skin. It is a treatment that provides natural skin improvement and rejuvenation and can be combined well with our other treatments!

Radiesse

Radiesse® is the perfect filler and solution for firming sagging skin and skin rejuvenation. It works effectively for reducing deep wrinkles, contour correction and has a lifting effect. The filler contains high-quality ingredients, such as the body’s own CaHa particles, which have a rejuvenating effect and stimulates the production of collagen. After about two years, the filler is naturally broken down by the body, allowing the skin to regain its firmness and elasticity.

At AAYA we have 2 different Radiesse treatments:
1) Radiesse Hybrid – The combination of Radiesse with hyaluronic acid. This way you get the best of both worlds: extra collagen production from Radiesse and extra hydration from hyaluronic acid. We mainly apply this to the sagging skin of the cheekbone, cheeks, jawline, chin.

2) Radiesse Hyperdiluted – The latest trend: by diluting Radiesse with NaCl (salt water) we get an ultra subtle tightening of the skin without adding volume. Truly an optimal skin booster! Suitable for face, neck, arms, stomach and legs!

Radiesse is used in our AAYA Non-surgical facelift treatment. It is a treatment where we combine different collagen boosters. This allows us to achieve the effect of a facelift in an advanced and non-surgical way. Signs of skin aging, such as wrinkles, sagging skin and loss of volume are effectively addressed and restored. Depending on your skin type, the most suitable combination is put together for the ultimate skin-improving and lifting effect. The combined approach of Radiesse with Tixel, Profhilo or PhilArt leads to a natural-looking rejuvenation without the recovery time and risks of a surgical facelift. Because the AAYA Non-surgical facelift contains multiple treatments, it is a process of 4-6 months. This is because the collagen boosters stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in a natural way and the firming and lifting effect only becomes clearly visible after about 4 months. The process starts with an initial consultation where the skin and volume are analyzed and a personal treatment plan is drawn up. 

Tixel

With Tixel® we can tighten the skin in the face and neck or around and on the eyes. The Tixel heats the skin for a few seconds, which causes stimulations of collagen and elastin production. With a Tixel treatment we can improve the skin both superficially (non-ablative;  which reduces dull skin, reduces pigment spots and reduces sun damage) and also treat the skin deeper (ablative; which tightens the skin, reduces deeper lines, scars and wrinkles). 

If the entire face is treated, you will notice that the skin becomes tighter and smoother. However, you will need approximately 4-6 treatments for the most optimal result. There are 4 weeks between each treatment, because the skin is an organ that builds up every 4 weeks. A Tixel treatment can be sensitive. We therefore recommend taking 2 paracetamol 500mg and 1 ibuprofen 400mg 2 hours before the treatment. 

Tixel is very suitable to treat the skin around the eyes, such as drooping eyelids. We also call it the Non-surgical eyelid correction.  A very good alternative to an eyelid correction. Do you prefer not to have surgery and are you suffering from drooping eyelids? Then ask us about the possibilities with Tixel. Things to keep in mind with Tixel: be careful with sunlight! That is why we prefer to plan the treatments when there is an ‘R’ in the month (September-April).
